At M.S. Public Secondary School, we understand that parents, teachers, and students may need to know what happens to their data when they leave the school or graduate. This page explains our account deactivation policy.
Why Can't I Delete My Account?
MS School is a school management app. All accounts are created by the school administration for:
- Parents — to track their children's progress
- Teachers — to manage classes and students
- Students — to view results and attempt exams
Since the school owns and manages all accounts, deletion is also controlled by the school. This ensures the integrity of academic records.
What Happens When You Leave?
App Access
Your login is deactivated. You can no longer sign in to the app.
Academic Records
Your records remain permanently in the school database.
What Gets Deleted vs. What Stays
Why Academic Records Are Permanent
Academic records are the permanent property of the school and are required for:
- Issuing transcripts and certificates
- Verifying student history for future admissions or jobs
- Complying with educational regulations
- Audit and legal requirements
These records are never deleted, except in the event of a data disaster or critical system failure.
How to Deactivate Your Account
If you wish to deactivate your account (for example, if your child has left the school), please contact the school office:
- Send an email from your registered email address to the school office.
- Use the subject line: "Account Deactivation Request - MS School App"
- Include your full name, username, and CNIC in the email body.
- The school will verify your identity and process your request within 7 working days.
- Your account will be marked inactive — you will no longer be able to log in.
